The tour is in the Wilmington Historic District which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Tickets are valid both days and sites may be viewed in any order. Cape Fear Segway

Getting there is more than half the fun. On a Segway tour, it's not so much what you see as how you get there. One of the newest downtown attractions, Cape Fear Segway offers guided tours through Wilmington's Historic District. But if you go, don't expect to stop at every one of the many historic hot spots you encounter...Tour guide Stan Wood prefers to yell out the facts over his shoulder while zipping past one of many historic sites on his 2 hour guided tour. Margi and I enjoyed it the first time and really had a blast the second time. Cape Fear Segway is located at 106 North Water Street and can be reached at 910-251-2572

Recipe of the Month

Cranberry Eggnog Muffins
By way of C. W. Worth House

Makes 1 dozen muffins

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter         2 1/2 t baking powder

3/4 cup sugar         1/2 t salt

2 eggs                   1/2 t baking soda

1/2-2/3 cup eggnog 1 t vanilla

1 T orange zest (optional) 2 cups frozen cranberries

2 cups flour

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375

Chop frozen cranberries in food processor until chopped to consistancy for muffins

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and blend.

Sift dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients alternately with egg nog.

Stir cranberries into batter, just until blended.

Fill greased muffin tins 3/4 full with batter.

Bake at 375 for 18-20 minutes until lightly brown on top and spring back when touched. ENJOY!!!
