Here is a sample itinerary for your "Fun Day" in historic Wilmington North Carolina: Wake up to a gourmet breakfast with your fellow travelers then start out on a tour of the historic district (there are several to choose from). After working up an appetite select from several downtown restaurants such as Press 102 or The Front Street Brewery or for a quick sandwich try Chops Deli . For the afternoon grab the water taxi over to the battleship North Carolina for a great tour rich in history (allow a couple hours) or tour one or all three of the house museums--The Bellamy Mansion, The Burgwin-Wright Museum or The Latimer House. Maybe it's time for a short nap and then join your innkeepers and other guests for wine and stories about your day's adventures. The innkeepers will share with you their favorite restaurants (like Manna ) or any of the others listed here and let you know about any evening activities of interest. Rest well, we'll do it all over again tomorrow!!
